This is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Zamboanga was one of the earliest bastions of the Catholic faith in the Philippines, dating back to the Spanish era. Here’s one piece of trivia: back in the 70s (or perhaps even earlier), Davao City used to be under the diocese of Zamboanga.
