The other night, I met up with a couple of friends, Ahbet and Rochelle, at cups & lowercase, that posh café on F. Torres owned by the Lizada family. I was surprised to find a new establishment in between the café and Bistro Rosario (that venerable steakhouse) — a new pizzeria in Davao!
I’m not sure what the place is called, though. I know, I know… I should’ve asked. Anyway, it reminded me of a food trip plan I’ve been trying to cook up for some weeks now: a pizza party! More on that later.
Listed below are Davao’s pizzerias. Did I forget anyone?

- La Toscana on Quirino Ave.
- Coco’s on F. Torres St.
- Shakey’s on Gov. Duterte St.
- Pizza Hut @ Gaisano Mall
- Yellow Cab @ SM City
Which ones are your favorites? My best choices are Pizzaiolo and Picobello. The others are of varying degrees of quality: how you rate them depends on your taste and your budget. 
The last three are fast-food types. They’re OK, too, but I just wish we had Brooklyn Pizza here in Davao…

nice! now i know where to go when i find myself in davao again. meant to get in touch with you the last two times i was in davao, which were fairly recent – hehehe. i was there april and may, for work. stayed in this really nice place called humberto’s hotel near ateneo. will be back in august just before kadayawan… hope to see you then.

Shakey’s at SM. Shakey’s at Victoria. Charlie’s Bakeshop has a decent Pizza. Pizza Hut at SM.
My favorites are Pizzaiolo and Coco’s.

charlie’s diner does offer good pizza. i’ve tried their calzone and it was really tasty. i haven’t tried coco’s but with your reviews, i think i’m going to. =)

Buhay na buhay pa. I always order Taco Looking to-go (hanggang ngayon). Re: Mama’s Pizza, maybe you meant Mommy’s Pizza? Mommy’s is one of my all-time favorites too. I can still remember their stall sa Ateneo Grade School canteen like it was yesterday.

What a relief to locate a blog post that’s finally really worth reading through! I’ve been seeking about about this topic yet folks just set trash posts, or small unreadable posts. Hi Merch. I'm not quite sure… but the pizzas at Yellow Cab are pretty big. They have two outlets in Davao:one in SM City in the south, and another one up north in Damosa Gateway. Thanks for reading my blog!
