My very good and long-time friend, Jojie Alcantara, has come up with a great plan for bloggers to do a tour within Davao City. A perfect way to start the summer!
Jojie says she’ll be able to accommodate 10 bloggers per tour. To give everyone a chance, we’ll ask you to sign up for one tour only. This is a good chance for Dabawenyo bloggers to meet up and get together and do something out of the ordinary. Sign up now before the slots are filled up!
- Tour 1: Campo Agua Resort
- 4 April 2008 (Friday)
- This is in Sirawan, Toril. We’ll sample tilapia cooking of all types: sisig, kinilaw, grilled, steamed… Bring your swimming gear!
- Free entrance and lunch!
- Tour 2: Crocodile Park & Butterfly Sanctuary
- 5 April 2008 (Saturday)
- We’ll make a round of this tourist spot, then do a tour of the newly-opened Tribu K’Mindanawun cultural village. Lunch at the Riverwalk.

For each group, the meeting point will be at Jojie & Rhonson’s photo studio @ Matina Town Square. Let’s meet at 9:00 AM sharp. More details to follow! I will update this post as soon as I get more info.
We’re still trying to see what dates are best for these two tours. So please indicate your preferred date along with the tour you’ll be going on.
