Kadayawan blues
Kadayawan is fast approaching, we should visible see a surge of tourist coming into Davao City to witness the event. Hope that there are a lot of activities, not only for the tourist but for local citizens as well.
wow, excited na ko witness sa “Kadayawan Festival”. Hehe. Kita kits nalang ta…
It’s the time of year that I wish I knew how to speak Dinabaw, which is the language of “Madayaw”.
Am not a “Davaoño” but I want to learn your language and some of your “good” practice..And also Blogie, I would like to thank you again for the delicacy during the 1st meeting of the Davao Bloggers and “SEOs” (grin). And Is there a second meeting? I hope there is…and even if you’ll not invite me, I will present myself personally to be invited. Lolz. (I got your number, naman..) hehe.
And lastly, I have posted a “link” to this page, “Kadayawan 2007 Update”. If you have time, just visit my blog and it’s my official entry for the “Review-a-blog competition”. Thanks a lot and God Bless.
Hello MitchMatch! Yes I saw your link-back yesterday. Thanks!
But I think you’ve misunderstood the guidelines for the Review-a-Blog competition. Pls check this link again. As much as I appreciate your Kadayawan post, it’s just not qualified… Pls read the page that I’ve linked to for more information.
Hello Blogie
Excuse my ignorance but may I know exactly on what part (section) of the guidelines I violated or misunderstood.
And also, I just want to clarify about my post Kadayan sa Dabaw 2007 it’s not actually an entry for the review-a-blog competition. I mentioned your link there because I got the idea and information of the “Highlights” from your post. (grin)
Thanks for your time.
Mitchmatch
@MitchMatch — I thought you said in your other comment that your Kadayawan-related post was your entry in the Review-a-Blog competition. Anyway, I’m looking forward to your entry!

This will be my first to see and shoot the kadayawan.. which are the contingents to watch out for?
@Anton Sheker — Contingents? Hmm.. I’m afraid I’m not up to speed on that this year. Sorry. Best advice, be there during the highlights! But the cultural presentations should be interesting as well, as they are really what the Kadayawan is all about.
Well, I hope there will be a second Blogger’s Party ‘coz I wasn’t able to join the first one.Ü
@khangkhung — just watch for the announcement of the next bloggers party! this 15 aug., some of us are going to the Delirium party. and then there will also be a get-together of the bisayabloggers.com members. more on that soon!
Yep, a very busy and fun august again for the dabawenyos! We do hope for an another successful event.
