NOTICE: Sad to say, but this coffee shop has already stopped operating.
Even before this latest addition to Davao’s coffee culture opened, I’d already heard about Spro Coffee Shop via its very own blog. The owners had been blogging about this café from the time they started conceptualizing it, and the blog was featured for a time at the Davao Blogspace.
Let me just say, Spro’s coffee is black gold. I’m hands-down impressed.
The place looks stylishly minimalist — or is it because they haven’t brought the décor in yet…? The furniture, however, is quite tasteful, and the shop’s colors (a pleasing hue of green, brown and cream, with touches of red and orange) are very inviting. Very tasteful.
I was so delighted I had to blog about it right away. In fact, I’m at Spro as I write this. Wifi is, of course, de rigeur in Davao’s coffee establishments.
Check it out! I highly recommend the place. The address: Ground Floor, A. Magno Bldg., Gen. Luna St. (from Quirino Ave. coming from the north, turn right on Gen. Luna). You should be going in the opposite direction of Gaisano Citimall.
